Dr. Syeda Bushra Iqbal, the ex-wife of late Aamir Liaquat, the famous host, requested prayers from social media users on the occasion of the first night of Birat after the death of Aamir Liaquat yesterday.
Dr. Syeda Bushra Iqbal attended the grave of Aamir Liaquat and while sharing the picture of his grave on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, she appealed for prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased.
Sharing the photo of Aamir Liaquat’s grave, he captioned it as ‘Aamir Liaquat’s (deceased) night was spent praying with you all, today he himself is waiting for your prayers, in his special prayers. Will always remember.
He further wrote that many of us have learned the etiquette of praying from them. May Allah make his grave a place of light and make all his future journeys easy, Amen.
At the end of the caption, Dr. Bushra Iqbal also shared the poem of the naat that “When everyone leaves me in the dark grave, my grave will be lit by the people of Medina.”
It may be remembered that the famous religious scholar, MNA Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain passed away on June 9 last year in Karachi.
