Pakistani actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt has declared Bollywood and global films essential for the survival of cinemas.
He emphasized the importance of reviving rapidly closing cinemas and shared a message on his Instagram story.
While supporting local cinema, he stressed that the industry needs films from around the world to stay alive.
He wrote on his Instagram story, “Our cinemas need films—Hollywood, Bollywood, Lollywood, Kollywood, or any other. We cannot afford to shut down more cinemas.”
It is worth mentioning that director Abu Aleeha also previously emphasized the importance of Bollywood films in keeping cinemas alive, as they have been banned for several years.
