Talks are underway with Hulu America to create a documentary on Indian Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh’s life and career.
According to a report, the documentary will highlight Diljit’s journey from a small town in Punjab to global fame, his historic Coachella 2023 performance, and the massive economic impact of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024, which generated nearly $13 million in tax revenue and created 5,300 jobs in North America.
The report states that discussions are going well, and if a deal is finalized, filming for the documentary could begin this year.
This project will showcase Diljit’s personal struggles, the global influence of Punjabi music, and behind-the-scenes moments from his concerts, helping to bring Punjabi music to the world stage.
