Atif Aslam recently made a unique revelation that he hasn’t listened to music for many years. In his popular blog, “Welcome to My Borderless World,” Atif shared memories of his musical journey and reflected on his evolving relationship with music.
While recounting his story, Atif revealed that he discovered his passion for singing in his childhood. One day, he started singing on the upper floor of his empty house, and when he hit a high note for the first time, he was both amazed and terrified.
He said, “When I hit that note, I wondered, what just happened? I immediately shut the door and came downstairs.” However, this fear didn’t hold him back, and he quietly continued his journey to refine his singing skills.
Atif further shared that music has always been a significant part of his life, and he couldn’t imagine life without it. Surprisingly, though, he hadn’t listened to music for many years. Now that he has started listening again, he feels joy in the experience.
Atif stated that this program would be based on collaboration and unity rather than competition. He said, “It will be a platform where people work for music with love.”
The launch event held in Lahore was attended by prominent showbiz personalities, including singer Sahir Ali Bagga, Bilal Saeed, actors Hamza Ali Abbasi, Saba Qamar, model Emad Irfani, and host Anoushey Ashraf.
Filmmaker Bilal Lashari, Umaira Hameed, and singer Shae Gill also showed their support for the program during the event.
