Ayub Khoso is a talented Pakistani television and cinema actor from Balochistan. He was born to a Pakhtoon mother and Baloch father. Ayub Khoso describes himself as a proud Baloch. He has been in the profession for four decades. His major plays include Zanjeer, Dasht, Rhubaru Ishq Tha, Khuda Zamin Say Gaya Nahi Hai, Irtiqa, Shantul, Sukhaan, Sumbul, Nakhuda, Mitti, Sassi, Sadori, Dushman, Sham Se Pehle, and Wapsi Ke Baad. He appeared in the blockbuster Pakistani film Khuda Ke Liye.
Ayub Khoso recently appeared on Mazaaqrat, a Dunya News program hosted by Imran Ashraf. In the show, he discussed the drama industry’s lack of professionalism.
Ayub Khoso stated, “Nowadays it has become a farce; presently an actor comes to the scene and is naive about the task since he is given the screenplay on the set. Also, I was once sitting in the office with the producer, who contacted his Associate Director and asked, ‘What’s the day’s report? The AD responded, ‘We have shot fifteen scenes today,’ and the producer became enraged since his aim was eighteen scenes per day; now, what will happen to the industry if the majority of drama producers are like that?
