Dr. Omer Adil is a well-known Pakistani orthopedic surgeon, top media expert, and anchorperson. Dr. Omer Adil made news a few days ago when Punjab police filed arrest warrants for him. Anchor Gharida Farooqui shared the arrest warrants on X. According to the details, Ghareeda Farooqi urged Dr. Omer Adil to apologize, but he did not, therefore he was detained on her accusation.
He recently published a video of his unconditional apology. In the video, he stated, “This is my apology to the host and anchorperson, Ghareeda Farooqi. This is an unconditional, heartfelt, and sincere apology. I understand that she has been deeply upset and distressed by a particular podcast, which is being edited and thoroughly manipulated by the podcast’s host, Ghareeda Farooqi; yet, I hold no grudges or bad feelings toward the host. We are only two people working in journalism, but I have the deepest regard for her. I truly apologize to Ghareeda if I have purposefully or accidentally injured her, and I would like her to withdraw her complaint.
