Faisal Qureshi shared an apology video on Instagram and said that the actors included in the cast of the drama including him did not intend to hurt anyone and they only act, they say what they are told.
According to the actor, he was told by Qaiser Nizamani that the Karachi Bar Association has expressed its displeasure over the dialogues spoken in his play while issuing a statement.
He said that the actors included in the cast of the play, including him, did not intend to hurt anyone’s heart, the team accidentally aired some inappropriate words, for which he apologized.
According to Faisal Qureshi, other actors including him tried not to say many such inappropriate words in the drama, but still, some things were aired by mistake, for which he apologized.
His apology came at a time when the Karachi Bar Association protested the dialogues of his drama two days ago and demanded an apology from the TV channel management, the drama team, and the actor.
In the notice, the Karachi Bar Association had warned the TV channel management including the actor that the Bar Association reserves the right to take legal action if they do not apologize.
The Bar Association said that the dialogues spoken by Faisal Qureshi were inappropriate and caused the heartache of the lawyer community.
It should be noted that Zalam has been aired on Hum TV for the past few months, in which Faisal Qureshi is seen in a negative role and he has used words like du koori and du takke vakil several times in the drama.
