Recently, devastating news about the Pakistani mountaineer circulated on social media after she fell ill on her recent K2 expedition, which she was heading. It was a female mission led jointly by Pakistanis and Italians. According to the details, Baig, who was also conducting the difficult expedition, began to experience significant breathing problems during her pre-expedition preparations.
Unfortunately, despite her rapidly failing health, the young mountaineer did not receive timely assistance. All of the necessary equipment and team members were present to participate in the rescue operations, but the weather prevented the operation from taking place. Samina Baig waited for a helicopter for three days. The doctor evaluated her condition and warned everyone of her deteriorating health.
