Hareem Farooq is an outstanding Pakistani actor. She became well-known after appearing in the drama series Diyar E Dil. She is also recognized for creating successful films. Her major dramas include Mere Hamdam Mere Dost, Dusri Bivi and Sanam, 22 Qadam, and others. She is now receiving accolades in Bismil for her terrible persona Masooma.
Hareem Farooq recently appeared on the Something Haute YouTube program, which is presented by Hassan Choudhary. During the episode, she discussed acquiring Bismil’s screenplay, success, and portraying Masooma.
When asked about landing a role in Bismil, Hareem Farooq remarked, “I was approached by the producers for numerous characters, but I specifically stated my screenplay needs. I truly wanted to play a complex or tough role. Bismil was then recounted to me, along with the cast members’ identities. I immediately said yes to the script.
When asked about Masooma’s character, she stated, “I usually consult with my director before beginning any project because I want to be on the same page with him. I asked Aehsun Bhai, “How’s Masooma going for you?” He said she does things in her innocence. She is not innately bad. It is a fact that individuals are not born evil; they become wicked as a result of their circumstances or by doing behaviors that turn out to be terrible, but they are not bad people. Masooma is not entirely innocent, but she does not consider the implications of her impulsive or unpleasant behaviors.
Hareem Farooq also stated that she would not consider Masooma a gold digger since she was not entirely a gold digger. When asked about Bismil’s success, she said, “When I heard the story, I found it a little relatable because I knew a few people who had gone through the same thing, and when the drama went on air, I received feedback from multiple sources that it is quite common, and there are many women who have been cheated on by husbands like this. I didn’t realize that was a typical practice, which is why it struck a chord with people and they began watching it.”
