Vaneeza Ahmed recently appeared on ARY Digital’s morning show, hosted by Nida Yasir. During the presentation, she discussed her younger sister Isha, who died in a horrible vehicle accident when she was 25 years old. She also discussed the lesson she learned from her abrupt or untimely death.
Vaneeza spoke on it, saying, “So she changed my life and made me realize how fragile life is because we only make future plans and work for them.” We never think of Allah’s blessings. Her tragic passing brought me closer to Allah. I realized about Allah throughout the depression that followed her death. I recognized she had a short life, and it was supposed to be this way. Her death taught our family to live in the present moment, pray Allah for everything, and appreciate what we have.
She is clearly in a better place now, but her death has brought us closer to Allah. We all recited the Quran as children, but we never practiced it, and I never gave regular prayers, which I recognized later. Also, everything occurs for a reason; I consider myself fortunate to have sent my sister overseas for her higher education because it was one of the best experiences she had prior to her death.
