Abbas Ashraf Awan is Imran Ashraf’s brother and a struggling Pakistani actor who rose to prominence with his outstanding performance in Hum TV’s popular drama program Sabaat. In the drama serial Sabaat, he played a nasty character, and audiences praised his performance. He also starred in Sawaal Anaa Ka Tha, Mastaani, and Mera Dil Meri Marzi. Fans are currently applauding his performance in the Hum TV drama show Woh Ziddi Si.
Imran Ashraf’s brother Abbas Ashraf Awan recently appeared on PTV Home’s discussion show, where he discussed the ups and downs of being a celebrity sibling.
When asked about it, Imran Ashraf’s brother replied, “One of the biggest lows of being a celebrity sibling is that I am considered an extraordinary actor because of his work.” The plus is that I have his name with me, but I still audition for all of my assignments. The project I am presently working on is through him, however I was granted it after a year of his recommendations. I auditioned for this, and auditions always work in the actor’s favor. It is not that I have taken use of his name; otherwise, I would have participated in every other endeavor.”
