Ishq Murshid, a major serial starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem, shattered all viewership records. The drama was popular not only because of its characters and acting, but also because of its original soundtrack, which was performed by Ahmed Jahanzeb. The OST credited the singer Ahmed Jahanzeb with the lyrics, however it appears that he did not write them.
Javeria Saud claimed on Madeha Naqvi’s show that she was the one who created Ishq Murshid’s OST, but her friend deceived her and she did not receive credit for her efforts. She claimed that this had happened to her several times before when her words were misattributed to her.
