Kanwal Ameen is a well-known educationist from Pakistan. She was the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education Lahore and a professor at the famous University of Punjab. She is also the mother of superstars Ali and Danyal Zafar. Kanwal Ameen has also contributed significantly to women’s education, and the Government of Pakistan recognized her efforts with the Sitara e Imtiaz award.
Kanwal Ameen spoke on Wasi Shah’s show and discussed her life, profession, and parenthood. She also spoke affectionately of her son Ali Zafar and expressed her pride in his job. Kanwal also expressed a regret over Ali Zafar and something she believes may have been prevented in the past.
She claimed that Ali was a very studious child who received first place in 10th grade. He was given an award at school, which was his first major achievement. She was unable to attend the school ceremony due to other obligations, but she believes she should have been present.
