Mansha Pasha gave a strong response to trolls criticizing women’s clothing. Mansha faced severe criticism on social media for her outfit at Yashma Gill’s sister’s wedding. In response, the actress shared her stance on Instagram.
A user commented on her photo, saying, “Why have you all chosen to dress indecently? Blindly following India?”
Mansha replied, “Why is it necessary to drag India into everything? If you don’t like the outfit, that’s fine, but don’t make it seem like you have an inferiority complex.”
The actress also addressed the matter in her Instagram stories, stating, “Selective sanitization of history and culture while shaming today’s women is incomprehensible.”
Mansha shared screenshots of iconic scenes from old Pakistani films, showing actresses in sleeveless dresses, traditional yet revealing outfits, or smoking in tea houses. She pointed out that these styles are no different from today’s fashion and have long been part of Pakistani culture.
Mansha emphasized that there is no reason to shame today’s women for their clothing when these styles were inspired by the fashion of past actresses.
