Mawra Hocane Talks About Jafaa & Sabaat

Mawra Hocane is a rising talent who has made significant progress in her profession. She has recently been selecting highly brilliant and thought-provoking screenplays. She does an excellent job with her roles, and she recently impressed everyone as the domestic violence survivor Dr Zara in Jafaa. She met with Something Haute to discuss her life and profession.

Mawra Hocane stated that she was previously known as a social media celebrity, but that this perception began to change after meeting Sabaat. She was not seeking to confront Sabaat in order to accomplish this, and she was not going to do so. However, the storyline compelled her to return to her birthplace of Islamabad, where she reconsidered her popularity and responsibilities. She stopped participating in the Instagram race and decided to focus on more meaningful tasks.

She also stated that she chose Jafaa to highlight the emotional and physical assault that women face in society. She went on to say that Dr Zara reminds the world that while financial freedom can help with rehabilitation, it cannot totally protect you from it. Mawra Hocane also stated that certain people in the industry have shared their stories of abuse with her following Jafaa.
