Mishi Khan Expresses Concern Over Poor Internet Services and Price Hikes in Pakistan

Pakistan celebrated its 77th Independence Day today. The occasion was commemorated with fervor and zest. The ceremonies were held at a variety of locations, including offices, schools, colleges, and institutions. Many people wore green and white outfits to show their patriotism for their cherished motherland. Among the jubilation and joy, the outstanding actor Mishi Khan issued a reality check to the nation for remaining silent on what is going on in the country, including inflation and internet bans.

Talking about it, Mishi Khan said, “Assalamu Alaikum, I hope you all are fine, happy Independence Day to you all, but what to say, the public is paying heavy taxes, they are the direct victim of inflation, they are overburdened, what’s the use of a train that will reach from Karachi to Islamabad in one and a half hours when a WhatsApp message takes too long to be delivered to the recipient. I’m startled and concerned about those who rely on the internet for work, such as contact centers and e-commerce websites; how are you functioning and working with such terrible internet access? What do you want from us?

We only had one internet facility after paying so much tax; please provide us with basic services, at the very least, Internet; I believe we are headed into the stone age when we had slow internet that just displayed the loading indicator.” Here’s a link to the video:
