Pakistan’s renowned senior actress and host, Nadia Khan, has revealed that she walked out of a podcaster’s show due to inappropriate questions.
Recently, Nadia Khan participated in a private TV channel’s Ramadan transmission.
On this occasion, the actress openly discussed the issues faced by women on International Women’s Day and gave advice.
In response to a question, Nadia Khan also spoke about the current trend of podcasts.
Advising celebrities who give interviews on podcasts, she said that actors should be aware that they may be trapped with different types of questions. They should either go fully prepared or take someone along with them.
While discussing a podcast, Nadia Khan shared her interview experience without naming the YouTuber and podcaster (Nader Ali).
Without mentioning the name, she said, “When I went to a very famous podcaster’s show, I was really impressed by their preparation. I thought it was going to be a great interview, but after just one or two questions, I had to stop them.”
She further said, “The YouTuber tried to trap me with controversial and inappropriate questions, so instead of answering, I confronted him.”
Nadia Khan revealed, “I left the podcast midway. I asked the podcaster, ‘What kind of questions are these? The show cannot be recorded like this.’ Then, I did not continue the recording until the podcaster apologized to me.”
The actress emphasized that, as a senior artist, she refused to answer questions she did not like. She advised other actors to boycott controversial and inappropriate questions.
She also added, “YouTubers only care about views, but we actors should value our dignity and status. Actors need to be aware of their seniority and should not allow such questions to be asked.”
