Heeramandi is the most recent Netflix series directed by acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Though it is filmed in India, the movie is set and imagined in Pakistan’s notorious red light district in Lahore. The series has gotten a lot of criticism for its incorrect speech, poor Urdu and Punjabi, as well as errors in the Heeramandi, which appeared to be from Mars rather than Lahore. The series, on the other hand, received a lot of attention, and now Sanjay Leela Bhansali has stated that he originally planned to cast Mahira Khan, Imran Abbas, and Fawad Khan in the series, but things did not work out.
