Salma Zafar Asim on Husband’s Second Marriage & Her Struggles

Salma Zafar Asim spoke of her marriage, saying, “I was married before I reached 18 and received my ID card after marriage. I married young since it was considered a significant accomplishment at the time. One thing that saddened me was abandoning sports, as I was a fantastic athlete in college. Marriage was considered the most essential thing for girls at the period, thus it occurred early. The most important issue for parents was to settle their children on time, and of course, they want the best for their children with good intentions.
