Two popular and talented siblings of the Pakistani drama and film industry, Shehzad Sheikh and Momal Sheikh, come from a strong media background. They are the children of the renowned actor Javed Sheikh, a big name in Pakistan’s TV and film industry.
Shehzad Sheikh has made a unique mark in the drama industry, while Momal Sheikh has also delivered outstanding performances in several famous dramas.
Recently, Shehzad and Momal appeared as guests on a private TV channel’s Ramadan transmission. During the show, they discussed the challenges they faced despite being star kids and how much effort they had to put in to achieve success.
Shehzad Sheikh said, “I believe that being the child of a famous personality has more disadvantages than advantages because people have very high expectations from us. When you are an actor’s child, you may get a platform easily, but acting is not something you can inherit from your parents. In the end, you have to struggle on your own.”
He added, “My father always advised me that hard work and struggle are the foundation of lasting success. He told me that fame can come in an instant, but if you truly want to be successful, you must go through the journey of learning and hard work yourself. He taught me valuable lessons about surviving in the industry, which have been very helpful for me.”
Momal Sheikh also shared her thoughts on the topic. She said, “We had to work very hard to ensure that we were not just recognized as Javed Sheikh’s children but as individuals with our own identity. We had to carve our own path and prove that we reached this point through our talent and hard work, not just because we are the children of a famous actor.”
