During the opening ceremony of the International League T20 in the UAE, Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar met Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor.
The famous Pakistani cricketer, known as the Rawalpindi Express, shared a video of his meeting with Shahid Kapoor at the event on his Instagram account, which quickly went viral on social media.
In the video, Shoaib Akhtar is seen conversing with the Indian actor in a cheerful mood, while Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh was also present at the moment. The actor from Kabir Singh also patted Harbhajan Singh on the shoulder.
At the end of the video, Shahid is seen extending his hand towards Shoaib to say goodbye.
Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar shared the video on Instagram, calling it a “beautiful” coincidence, and tagged the International League and Shahid Kapoor in his post.
It is worth noting that Shahid Kapoor performed at the opening ceremony of the International League T20 alongside the main cast of his film Divine.
