He was looking for a serious girl that was interested in crafts rather than makeup or looks. When he mentioned Sabeena Farooq, I had some reservations about her, but Kashif convinced me that she would do well. Initially, I believed she’d seem older, but we reconsidered because we wanted a married girl, and she was ideal. Sabeena Farooq is an artist; she is concerned with craft rather than appearance, and I am quite pleased with the conclusion of the serial.”
