While answering a question, he revealed that he worked with actress Meera in the film Chalo Ishq Ladaayen, which was released in 2002. The film’s recording took place in Dubai, and during the shoot, he realized what true fame felt like. Since he was playing the lead role opposite Meera, he received threatening letters.
Ali Haider also shared an amusing incident involving Meera. He said that not only is Meera a very good friend, but she also has a wonderful personality. He recalled that after his marriage, Meera once called him and said, “Ali, you’ve gotten married, you have kids now, don’t you have any friend who can marry me?” To this, he replied, “I’ll try.” However, he added with a laugh that nothing more ever came of it.
