Muhammad Ahsan is a talented newcomer to Pakistan’s television scene. He writes, directs, hosts, and performs. Ahsan was connected to Rava Entertainment, a digital platform where he produced short films and documentaries in addition to hosting a number of interviews. Ahsan completed his studies at ZABIST and NAPA in acting. He became well-known recently after he starred in the hit drama series Gentleman by Green Entertainment, in which he played Iqbal Munna’s right-hand man. Ahsan’s portrayal of Zulmi in Gentleman has captivated audiences, and the character is adored by all.
Ahsan recently appeared on the Rabia Mughni-hosted YouTube program for Fuchsia Magazine. Ahsan talked about his difficult road and landing a job at Gentleman on the episode. He also talked about his collaborations with Humayun Saeed.
Speaking about his first scene with Humayun Saeed, Ahsan stated, “I was ready on set and wandering about, thinking to myself about filming a scene with Humayun Saeed. I was confident he wouldn’t appear and that someone else would perform the role. But then Humayun Saeed and Ahmed Ali Butt strolled in, and I was immediately confused when I saw Humayun Saeed. I was hesitant and apprehensive about my impending scene with him because I had to perform beside him.
Then Humayun Saeed approached me and said, “Let’s do the scene!” Because of his charming demeanor, I became anxious and delivered my lines terribly. I failed several times until Humayun Saeed understood I needed help. He recited the words, and I wish we had video of that scene because his performance was outstanding. Humayun Saeed portrayed Zulmi brilliantly. I wanted him to try it once more because he really nailed it.”
