Anam Tanveer is a talented Pakistani television and film actor and model. She has been working in the media industry for several years. Anam debuted in the popular drama series Mere Dard KO Jo Zaban Milay. Her other prominent television dramas are Lashkara, Do Bol, Noor-e-Zindagi, Aakhir kab Tak, Tera Yahan Koi Nahi, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Shehnai, Bay Naam, and Woh Pagal Si. Anam Tanveer is now performing chosen work. She was last seen in the Indian-Pakistani-Punjabi film Jee Ve Sohneya Ji, which starred Imran Abbas.

Anam Tanveer recently participated on FHM’s podcast, hosted by Adnan Faisal. In the episode, she discussed Pakistani culture, history, and society. When asked about history, Anam stated that Pakistanis are taught incorrect information. She also claimed that Pakistanis are misinformed about Quaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s religion and other historical facts.

When discussing it, she remarked, “Get your facts straight and tell the right history to Pakistanis. Tell people that non-Muslims came here for education and trade; they were more progressive and worked for Pakistan. Tell them who Jinnah was.Mention that Pakistan is a secular country. Non-Muslims toiled here for years for the betterment of Pakistan. They gave you the railway tracks, they constructed systems, and you destroyed them. They created roads and infrastructure. Who was Quaid E Azam? He was not Muslim. Sir! He was a Parsi. There are two sides to this debate: some think ‘he was Muslim’, while others disagree.

I don’t want to enter into this issue, but I wanted to point out that Gonds came to India and Pakistan after the Portuguese invaded, and they were Christians, thus they worked in Pakistan. Our curriculum is messed up. “They do not teach us correct history.”
