Arrest warrants issued against renowned actress Nazish Jahangir on serious charges of fraud and breach of trust. A judicial magistrate at Lahore’s Cantt Kacheri has issued arrest warrants against Nazish Jahangir for fraud, breach of trust, and issuing threats.
The court has ordered the police to arrest the actress and present her in court on March 22.
The case was filed on the request of Aswad Haroon, a resident of Lahore’s Defence area. He alleged that the actress deceived him by promising showbiz opportunities and took millions of rupees along with a luxury car.
Aswad Haroon further claimed that when he demanded the return of his money and car, he was lured to a farmhouse, where armed men held him hostage, physically assaulted him, and threatened him with serious consequences.
After hearing the case, the court issued arrest warrants for Nazish Jahangir, Sikandar Khan, and other suspects, instructing the police to arrest them as soon as possible and present them in court.
So far, Nazish Jahangir has not issued any statement regarding the matter.
However, sources close to the actress have stated that she will soon present her stance on the issue.
