Asma Abbas is a veteran Pakistani television actor and former host. She is known for her outstanding acting performances in dramas such as Dumpukht, GT Road, Akbari Asghari, Khumaar, Daldal, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Chupke Chupke, Chaudhary and Sons, Radd, and Mann Jogi. The actor was recently praised in ARY Digital’s drama series Baby Baji ki Bahuwain. The star is now making headlines for her son Ahmed Abbas Gill’s wedding, which took place in Lahore. Several noteworthy guests attended the wedding.
Asma Abbas also asked ace singer Ahmed Jahanzeb to his son’s wedding, and he warmly accepted her invitation. In a recent vlog, she discussed Ahmed Jahanzeb’s kind gift for her youngest son, Ahmed Abbas Gill.
When asked about Ahmed Jahanzeb, Asma Abbas replied, “I planned a wonderful surprise for my son. You all know my son loves to sing, and Ahmed Jahanzeb is his inspiration, so he couldn’t believe I’d invite him to his wedding because he obviously charges a lot of money to perform at gatherings. I just told Ahmed Jahanzeb about my son’s wedding. Ahmed was delighted to hear of my son’s wedding and pledged to attend, which surprised me. I promised him a ticket and a place to stay, but he declined.”
She said, “He came and waited in the car because it was raining and the music setup was disrupted. We moved the setup indoors, and Ahmed Jahanzeb arrived; my kid was surprised to see him, and Ahmed sang Noor e Jahan; it was a memorable occasion for all of us.”
