Ayesha Omar has revealed that she hosted a show on Pakistan Television (PTV) at the age of just 8. Recently, during her guest appearance on a podcast, Ayesha Omar shed light on various aspects of her showbiz career and personal life. She shared that when she was 8 years old, she co-hosted the PTV show “Mere Bachpan Ke Din” with a senior host in Lahore.
Ayesha mentioned that at that time, Muneeza Hashmi was the MD of PTV and had designed the show. The show required a young child to co-host alongside an experienced host, and Ayesha was selected for that role.
She also mentioned that during the show, she interviewed several prominent personalities, including Javed Miandad and Adnan Sami Khan, and it became a memorable experience for her. This marked the beginning of her association with showbiz at such a young age.
