The sessions court in Lahore dismissed the application for the registration of a case against drama writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar in the honey trap case, based on the withdrawal of the application.
Additional Sessions Judge Ilyas Rehan heard the application for the registration of the case.
The application was filed by Zeenat Bibi, the mother of the accused Amina Urooj in the honey trap case.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s lawyer, Mudassar Chaudhry, appeared in court and stated that the applicant’s lawyer had informed the court that the applicant wanted to make some changes to the request and wished to withdraw the application for the case registration.
The lawyer requested the court to allow the withdrawal of the application, and the court granted permission for the applicant to withdraw the application.
