Singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, known for his unique singing style on social media, is once again in the news for his controversial statements.
Recently, he appeared on a private TV show, where his comments about marriage and his behavior with the host have led to criticism.
During the show, the host asked him, “Since you call yourself single, which girl would you like to marry?” Chahat replied, “I want to marry a girl like you, and I have been after you for the past year.”
The host politely declined, saying her family is strict and she has different preferences. Despite this, Chahat kept proposing to her and praising her beauty multiple times during the show.
He also revealed that 38 women have proposed to him. When the host asked why he ignores so many girls who want to marry him, he replied, “The heart also has its own choices.”
This is not the first time he has faced criticism. Earlier, a video with host Mathira went viral, where he was seen placing his hand on her back.
Announcement of a Music Academy in Lahore
Chahat announced his new project, saying he will soon open a music, singing, and modeling academy in Lahore to train music lovers.
When asked about his performance fee, he said, “I charge 5 lakh rupees for performing at weddings, but I also give a 50% discount.”
Talking about singer Ali Zafar, Chahat said he respects him. Ali Zafar once offered him a song, but Chahat had already released his PSL song.
