In this viral video, Nishant sings the famous ghazal written by Nasir Kazmi, “Niyat-e-Shauq,” previously sung by Madam Noor Jehan in Pakistan and Asha Bhosle in India. He also plays the harmonium during his performance.
In his Instagram post, Nishant wrote, “‘Niyat-e-Shauq,’ after so many requests. Noor Jehan Ji and Asha Ji sang this masterpiece so beautifully. I don’t have the courage to match their brilliance, but there is so much to learn from this, so I gave it a try. Please forgive my mistakes in advance.”
