I gave Dr. Omar Adil the opportunity to publicly apologize through legal action, but he did not. I applaud all law enforcement authorities for taking swift action on my complaint. I hope justice is served, and those who attack women face the repercussions.
According to sources, Dr. Omar Adil spoke out against female anchors on Zohaib Butt’s show, and the host and analyst explicitly cited Gharida Farooqi’s name while engaging in vulgar talks on YouTube. Gharida Farooqi said that the two made false claims against her and other women in the media.
