Dr. Zakir Naik, a renowned Islamic scholar, is currently on a 20-day visit to Pakistan with his son. Dr. Naik, known around the world for his profound understanding of Islam and comparative religion, has long been a cherished figure among Muslims. He originally from India, currently resides in Malaysia, where he continues to preach Islamic beliefs through Dawah (Islamic outreach).
While he being trained as a medical doctor (he has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MBBS), chose to devote his life to the spread of Islamic knowledge rather than pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Naik created the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) in 1991 after being heavily influenced by Ahmed Deedat, a South African Islamic preacher. He has reached millions of people around the world via this platform, primarily through his lectures and debates on Islam and comparative faiths.
