Dr Zakir Naik’s Apology On PIA Statement Severely Criticized
Dr. Zakir Naik is a renowned Islamic scholar. He is respected for his broad understanding of Islam and other religions, such as Hinduism, Christianity, and Judaism. Dr. Zakir Naik is from India, however he is currently banned by the Indian government. Dr. Zakir Naik presently resides in Malaysia, where he continues to preach Islamic teachings through Dawah (Islamic outreach). He recently visited Pakistan for a short 20-day tour with his son.
Dr. Zakir Naik’s statement against PIA went popular on social media a few days ago, eliciting harsh condemnation. Dr. Zakir Naik expressed his displeasure with the PIA crew in the video, which charged him for his excess luggage. Here’s the video:
Recently, Dr. Zakir Naik apologized, saying, “Governor Kamran Tessori urged me to forget the PIA incident, which I have already forgotten.” However, he stated that my statement offended many Pakistanis. So, if I caused any distress, I apologize.” Here’s a link to his video where he apologized:
Previously, Mishi Khan and Pakistani followers were outraged by Dr Zakir Naik’s protest about PIA. Many people commented that regulations apply to everyone, and as a scholar, he should be more aware of this.
