Renowned Indian TV and film actor Aly Goni has been blessed with the opportunity to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan.
Aly Goni shared his pictures from the Kaaba on his official photo and video-sharing platform, Instagram. The pictures quickly went viral.
In one photo, Aly is seen standing in front of the Kaaba, while another shows him with a shaved head. The actor revealed that this was his first time shaving his head after performing Umrah.
In the caption of his post, Aly Goni quoted a hadith, stating, “According to the saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), performing Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.”
He further wrote, “My Umrah holds the reward of Hajj, and this is very significant in Islam because performing Umrah in the blessed month of Ramadan carries great virtue.”
