Pakistani dramas are probably one of the most popular forms of entertainment, with many fans in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Turkey, and several Middle Eastern countries. Pakistani dramas are particularly popular among Indian audiences. Many fans frequently upload response videos from the dramas. Simarjeet Singh Nagra, a talented Indian actor turned influencer, recently lauded Pakistan’s latest successful drama serial, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. He is a huge fan of Pakistani dramas and is much inspired by their realistic plots. The actor has previously praised plays such Parizaad, Mere Paas Tum Ho, and others.

Simarjeet Singh Nagra recently lauded the outstanding storyline of the simple drama series Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. When asked about Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, he stated, “I was just randomly watching a Pakistani series Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum; I found it to be a beautiful drama serial with a simple storyline.” The serial simply depicts a simple emotional story with very natural acting, but when compared to our drama serials, our drama serials offer a stupid storyline in which if a girl falls down stairs, they will drag that sequence for more than twenty minutes, along with dramatic background music and close-ups of the actors.

If we compare Pakistani television series to the Indian entertainment sector, Pakistani serials deserve to be appreciated. People argue that no one watches dramas, but this is not the case. When I go to auditions, our drama directors expect me to perform over-the-top acting. “Please learn something good from Pakistani serials.” Here’s a link to the video:
