Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is the most popular and well-known writer in Pakistan’s theatrical and cinema industries. He has been involved in several public spats since his fight with Marvi Sirmed on live television. Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was called out by several celebrities, including Mahira Khan, who issued a statement condemning his behavior on the broadcast. Since then, they have been at odds, and Khalil has been unable to forgive Mahira for her comments, which he has repeated in various interviews.
He has eliminated Mahira Khan from his projects, and they have not worked together since Sadqay Tumharey. Khalil recently repeated that he will never forgive Mahira Khan for publicly coming out against him rather than simply calling him and begging for his job.

However, things appear to have changed as Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is scheduled to reunite with Mahira Khan in his forthcoming film Mirza Jutt, in which she will star opposite Humayun Saeed. He said that while things from the past will stay, they must also work.
