According to reports, the incident took place at singer Javed Ahmed’s wife’s beauty parlor in Johar Town, where the LESCO (Lahore Electric Supply Company) team had arrived to investigate power theft.
In a complaint filed by LESCO at the Nawab Town police station, Javed Ahmed, his associate Adeel, and four unidentified individuals have been named. The complaint alleges that Javed Ahmed arrived at the scene, engaged in abusive language with the staff, and threatened them. It further claims that he attempted to run his vehicle (a Vigo Dala) over the staff.
LEESCO officials reported that the beauty parlor’s electricity meter had been tampered with, indicating an attempt to steal electricity. To prevent further illegal power supply, the parlor’s electricity has been disconnected.
The police have received the complaint, and investigations are underway. LESCO has provided senior officials with evidence of the power theft and other related details. As of now, no statement has been issued by Javed Ahmed or his spokesperson regarding the matter.
