Badar Mehmood is the man responsible for Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’s success. His last program, Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, received a lot of criticism for dragging sequences and a jagged story, but he is now being praised for a terrific drama. Badar Mehmood spoke on Maliha Rehman’s show and discussed two actors that writer Farhat Ishtiaq wanted in the script. He revealed that Hania Aamir as Sharjeena and Emmad Irfani as Adeel were the writer’s picks, and they were fortunate to have both on board.

He also discussed how certain moments are restricted on Pakistani television. Badar explained that in episode 25, he had to delete a scene in which Sharjeena is lying on Mustafa’s arm. Since such things would be disputed by the censor board. He went on to say that the censor should let some things go because we’re depicting a wonderful married pair rather than a girlfriend/boyfriend connection.
