Bollywood Katrina Kaif recently engaged in sacred rites of food distribution and holy plunge with mother-in-law Veena Kaushal at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagra, which has received a lot of attention on social media.
A slew of photos and videos have surfaced on social media, showing Katrina engaging in various religious practices while praying fervently and taking the holy dip alongside her mother-in-law Veena Kaushal at the Triveni Sangam (where three rivers, the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati, meet).
Katrina was greeted by religious authorities including the President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Swami Chidan, and Saraswati.
Katrina told ANI about her experience at Maha Kumbh: “I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to attend this year. I am really thrilled and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and received his grace. I am still in the early stages of my adventure here. I enjoy the energy, beauty, and meaning of everything. I am looking forward to spending the entire day here.
