Khalil-ur-Rehman honey trap case hearing postponed until tomorrow
The court hearing of the Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar honey trap and kidnapping for ransom case has been postponed until tomorrow, April 9.
According to the report, the hearing was held in the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore by Judge Arshad Javed.
10 accused, including Amna Urooj and Hasan Shah, were brought to court from jail. The lawyers of the accused, including Hasan Shah, gave their final arguments on their clients’ statements.
Deputy Prosecutor Abdul Jabbar Dogar completed his arguments and requested the court to punish Amna Urooj and the other accused.
The court has asked Amna Urooj’s lawyer to give final arguments tomorrow, April 9, and postponed the case till then. The final decision will be made after all arguments are completed.
According to the witnesses, Amna Urooj tricked Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar into coming to her flat. They said Amna, Hasan Shah, and others kidnapped him and demanded one crore rupees as ransom from the famous writer.
