Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar Speaks In Favour Of Love Marriages
Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar is an accomplished Pakistani writer, former actor, producer, and public speaker. He rose to prominence with the famous drama series Boota From Toba Tek Singh. He also authored and performed in the well-known Pakistani drama series Landa Bazar. Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar’s other well-known plays are Sadqay Tumhare, Bunty I Love You, Chand Pur Ka Chandu, Manjali, and Mere Paas Tum Ho. Punjab Nahi Jaungi and London Nahi Jaunga are two of his most successful film screenplays. Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar will soon make a reappearance on television with his amazing writing. Gentleman, his drama serial, will air on Green Entertainment on May 12th.
He was recently featured on Samaa Tv’s debate show Meri Saheli Brunch Show among other guests. In the episode, he discussed love marriages. Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar highlighted why he firmly supports love weddings.
Speaking about it, he stated, “I favor love weddings because they would erase the evil of dowry that has spread in our culture, and it is only through love marriages that we will be able to break this curse. When two friends marry, they show each other respect. There is no partnership in life without expectations; if you do not demand dowry from your husband, you will win her over, and she will always remember you for saving her parents from a lot of issues and worry. She will be very affectionate towards you. And these dwellings are designed for women; males do not spend time at home; only a dedicated woman creates a home.”
