Famous Pakistani fashion designer Maria B called the Aurat March a protest by failed women against successful women.
On February 12, an Aurat March was held in Lahore, where many women participated. Some women in the march were seen holding placards against actress Mishi Khan and designer Maria B. In response, She posted a video on social media to share her opinion. Mishi Khan also commented on the video, thanking Maria B for her support.
In her video, She said that the placards in the march proved that its organizers were working with a specific agenda and receiving funding. She claimed that Aurat March has failed in Pakistan because people have rejected it. She also said that the march was just an attack by unsuccessful women on successful ones. She believes that Pakistani women want to be independent and successful while following Islamic principles. Mishi Khan praised her statement and called it a strong response.
