Masarrat Misbah Shares How Her Parents Reacted to Her Divorce
Masarrat Misbah is a well-known and extraordinarily accomplished Pakistani beautician and philanthropist with a number of successful businesses. She founded Depilex, a chain of beauty salons, and she owns Pakistan’s first halal-certified makeup brand. She also launched the Smile Again Foundation to help acid attack survivors. Aside from that, she appeared in the TV play Asawari, created by Aapa Surraiya Bajia, which was an iconic message play.
Masarrat Misbah recently featured on Alief TV’s episode Meri Maa, where she spoke about her loving parents.
When asked about his parents’ reactions to his divorce, Masarrat Misbah replied, “My mother just accepted me with open arms; she poured love on me. My father summoned all of my sisters and announced, “Now, I will marry off my daughters after they complete their education.” He inquired if I wanted to work or continue my studies. He wanted me to be strong, to move on and overcome. My mother, on the other hand, showered me with affection and was always there for me.
