Pakistani actress Mawra Hussain’s 2016 Indian romantic film Sanam Teri Kasam has made a great comeback with its re-release.
When the film first released, it did not do well at the box office and was declared a flop, earning around ₹8.03 crore.
However, after its re-release on February 7, 2025, the audience gave a surprising response.
On the first day, the film earned ₹5.14 crore, and on the second day, it surpassed its original total earnings by collecting ₹9 crore.
Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hussain.
The strong audience support and positive response made the re-release a big success, which was very different from its first release.
Meanwhile, she recently married fellow actor Ameer Gilani last Thursday.
The two have worked together in popular Pakistani dramas Sabaat and Namak and have been seen together for a long time.
