Pakistani showbiz industry’s leading actress Mawra Hussain has beaten Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor. Mawra Hussain’s 2016 film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ has been re-released in Indian cinemas.

According to Indian media reports, the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ has broken its previous records on its re-release.

The report states that 88,000 tickets were sold on the first day of the re-release and the film did a business of 1.55 crore Indian rupees at the box office, while when this film was released in 2016, it could earn only 1 crore Indian rupees on the first day.

According to the report, this film has also left Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ behind in online advance booking.

The report states that the online advance booking of the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ has crossed 111,000, which is 168 percent more than the film ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’.

According to the report, the advance booking of the film ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ was only 40,000.

It should be remembered that the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, released on February 5, 2016, was a remake of the 1982 film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ starring actor Kamal Haasan and actress Reena Roy. The film was shot in Cape Town, South Africa.

In this film, Mawra Hussain played the role of a girl who is simple and educated but her luck is not good in terms of love and affection, but her life changes when a boy named Inder comes into her life, whose role was played by Indian actor Harshvardhan Rane.
