During the show, the guests discussed the most difficult time of their life. Maya Khan, a superb performer and broadcaster, revealed that her father died when she was too young.
Maya Khan spoke of her father’s death, saying, “My father died in Multan and is buried there. I was quite little when my father died, and I was profoundly saddened when my mother told me, “You are not the only child whose father has died.” I was astounded by her strength; I wondered what kind of person she is. But I would say that she was a really strong woman. I simply remembered yesterday that my mother was a harsh individual.”
Maya Khan further on her father’s death, saying, “The most difficult event was my father’s death; it was unacceptable for me to think about his death, especially when I had to send a letter to my father at school. I was devastated, but my mother said, ‘I am here, send a letter to me.’ I recall our relative informing me after my father died, to prepare me for her death news, that ‘now his heart is operating at barely 20%’. I recall people begging my mother to remove her gold bangles. It was I who asked my mother to be the same as she was during my father’s lifetime.
