Mehdi Hassan’s Son Replies To Ustad Tafu’s Insulting Comment About Father

Mehdi Hassan is one of Pakistan’s and South Asia’s most prominent artists. He is renowned as Shahanshah e Ghazal (The King of Ghazals), and his songs are timeless. People from all walks of life are his followers, and he was well complimented by his colleagues on both sides of the border for his technical prowess in singing and the lovely melodies he created.

Mehdi Hassan’s son Imran has continued his tradition because they come from a large musical family. He is performing exquisite ghazals and preserving the family’s musical heritage.

A few days ago, Pakistani musician Ustad Tafu spoke about Ustad Mehdi sahab. He remarked that he disagrees with Lata Mangeshkar’s claim that Mehdi Sahab had Bhagwan in his throat because Mehdi Hassan could only sing on a specific scale. Because Bhagwan is unable to sing over a certain scale, it must be his peon.

Imran Mehdi Hassan, the son of Mehdi Hassan Sahab, has spoken out in response to Ustad Tafu’s offensive comment. He stated that they had always revered Ustad Tafu as a family, but he simply reduced his own position by saying something so derogatory.
