Renowned Lollywood film writer Nasir Adeeb has revealed that when he made a statement about Reema Khan, his daughter, actress Zoya Nasir, chose to support Reema instead of him.
Recently, Zoya Nasir appeared alongside her father, Nasir Adeeb, on a private TV channel’s Ramadan transmission.
During the show, both Zoya Nasir and Nasir Adeeb answered several questions from the host.
In response to a question, Nasir Adeeb advised that when looking for a groom for a daughter, two things should be considered:
The man should respect women.
He should be empathetic towards women.
During the show, host Nida Yasir asked Zoya Nasir, “When your father gave a controversial statement in a podcast, did you try to explain things to him?”
Zoya Nasir responded, “After the controversial video from the podcast went viral, I did talk to my father about it.”
At this moment, Nasir Adeeb added, “Fathers are also human; they are not angels. A father can also make mistakes. In the podcast, when I made those remarks, Zoya did not support me but stood with Reema Khan. However, I was happy because instead of siding with me, she stood with the truth.”
Nasir Adeeb further stated, “I apologized for my statement and admitted that I should not have made such remarks about the actress.”
