Drama Noor Jahan had audiences enthralled from the first until the last episode, which airs today. This drama’s characters all moved like chess pieces, and because the writing was so well done, even the script’s errors could be overlooked. In Noor Jahan, every performer gave it their all, even Hajra Yamin, who portrayed the tiid Sumbul. It is admirable how the character went from being an orphan to being rejected by her spouse, mistreated by her mother-in-law, and then discovering who she was.
Sumbul eventually found happiness in Kumail after experiencing immense suffering and humiliation, and the two were married in a straightforward ceremony.
